The 2010 Lancer, all-new Lancer Sportback and Galant have arrived
Why stop at just one extraordinary vehicle when you can introduce three at the same time? The wait is finally over. The 2010 Lancer Sportback, 2010 Lancer Evolution and 2010 Galant are here. And your local Mitsubishi dealer is ready to tell you all about them.
The 2010 Lancer Sportback
Meet the sports car that's into whatever you're into.
September marked the introduction of the all-new Lancer Sportback, a versatile, highly-configurable five-door with the DNA of the legendary, high-performance sports car known as the Lancer Evolution.
With its sleek lines and European styling, the Lancer Sportback is visually stunning. Look beyond, and you'll discover the reasons why it's different than anything else on the road. Starting with RALLIART's 237-hp turbocharged MIVEC engine, All-Wheel Control and magnesium paddle shifters. It's a fast, fun, performance machine that takes the sport of driving to another level. And yet, with highly-advanced safety features like seven airbags*—including one under the driver's dash—Active Stability Control and HID headlamps, it offers serious peace-of-mind as well.
The Lancer Sportback is extremely flexible, with up to 52.7 cubic feet of storage, 60/40 split fold down seats with remote release and a dual-level cargo floor that adapts to meet your very particular needs.
Of course, this is a Mitsubishi, so you know there has to be a great sound system. In this case, the mind-warping 710-watt Rockford-Fosgate® premium audio delivers just what you expect. A 10" subwoofer and specially tuned separate components that bring out the lows and highs of your music collection. Plus, specially-designed door frames that act as acoustically-tuned speaker cabinets and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) always keeps them in balance. Add the convenience of the FAST-Key keyless entry system, an available 40GB hard-disc navigation system, and you'll begin to see what sets Lancer Sportback apart from, well, everything.
The 2010 Lancer Evolution
The legend returns.
The 2010 Lancer Evolution. The embodiment of everything we've learned on the race track around the globe. Engineered to continually surpass our standards and the only expectations that really matter: yours. With the power and efficiency of a 2.0-liter, 291 horsepower turbocharged engine, the cornering superiority of Super All-Wheel Control and the ultimate stopping power of the Brembo® brake system, it's clear that the 2010 Lancer Evolution really does live up to its legendary reputation.
Now, with the introduction of the Lancer Evolution MR Touring, we're raising the bar.
The MR Touring package represents a significant shift for the Lancer Evolution. By revamping the exterior with a sleek new lip spoiler and adding amenities like full-leather heated Recaro® seats, auto-on/off HID Headlamps, rain sensing wipers and power glass sunroof, we've redefined refinement in one of the world's most exhilarating vehicles. It's still just as powerful and fun to drive, but now, with an even higher level of sophistication. Lancer Evolution MR Touring is truly in a class all by itself.
Don't just take our word for it. You really have to drive one to believe it.
The 2010 Galant
If we were forced to come up with one phrase to sum up the virtues of the 2010 Galant, it would have to be "outstanding value". Because along with Galant's unique mix of power, comfort, technology and safety, certain features that were once options are now included.
First and foremost is a DVD-based navigation system—Included on Galant SE—with a 7-inch color LCD touch screen, rearview back-up camera and an industry-first Diamond Lane Guidance Navigation system that uses carpool (HOV) lanes to map the fastest route. Galant SE also comes with Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, 18-inch wheels and a 650 watt (max) Rockford®Acoustic Design audio system. PZEV Emissions Rated engines come standard to help the 2010 Galant lower the risk of harmful greenhouse emissions getting into the atmosphere. Especially at start-up.
If fuel economy is important to you (and these days, who doesn't consider it important?), you'll be happy to hear that the Galant gets 30MPG highway†. So even with Galant's formidable power, your miles per gallon don't suffer in the least. Which, of course, leads to substantial savings on gas long-term.
Suffice it to say that the Galant offers more features, more technology, more creature comforts than any Galant ever made. Which is saying something, considering everything it had to offer before.
* Airbags are part of a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). To decrease the risk of injury from a deploying airbag, always wear your seatbelt, sit upright in the middle of the seat and do not lean against the door. Always place children 12 and under in the rear seat and use appropriate child restraints. Never place a rear-facing infant restraint in the front seat. See your owner's manual and instructions provided with your child restraint for additional information.
EPA Estimates are to be used as a standardized comparison with other vehicles. Your actual mileage will vary depending on how you drive and maintain your vehicle.
