  
How do I change the name of ownership on my Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America financed vehicle? You can file for a name change by calling 1-866-876-3018, or by writing to: Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, Inc. PO Box 4401 Earth City, MO 63044-0401 If you have found a misspelling of your name, please call us at 1-866-876-3018. Please note there are different requirements for different types of name changes. LEGAL NAME CHANGE We will need to see legal documentation of your name change before adjusting our records (copy of marriage certificate, divorce decree, or other court order). Please send your marriage certificate, recorded divorce decree, or court order to the address listed above, and your request will be processed upon receipt. CHANGE OF OFFICERS - BUSINESS ACCOUNTS Please provide Mitsubishi with a copy of the minutes of the corporate meeting installing the new officers as authorized signers on behalf of the company. We will complete your request upon receipt of your supporting documents. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP DUE TO TRANSFER OF POSSESSION If you intend to sell the vehicle to someone who will be assuming the repayment obligation (i.e., the loan is not being paid off) the proposed new owner must complete an application to determine credit worthiness for a Transfer of Possession. If the vehicle loan is to be paid off in full by the estate, a Transfer of Possession application is not necessary.
